Job Description
Key Role:
Conduct planning, engineering, and management of production activities applied in the design and development of a program through production to reduce the risk of non-conformance to requirements. Support the development and implementation of the production strategy and plans. Develop production requirements, specifications, and associated contract language and conduct test planning and assessments of product design conformance to requirements. Identify potential product risks and failure modes and provide recommendations to mitigate and eliminate potential failure modes. Assure facilities, equipment, tooling, test equipment, materials, and manufacturing skills are in place to meet production schedules. Assist in the validation and approval of the platform and system final inspection record.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience as an industrial, manufacturing, or production engineer
Ability to gather information and communicate it effectively to teammates and customers
Ability to continually prioritize efforts in response to changing situations and new information
Ability to perform production monitoring and coordination to ensure timely delivery
Ability to perform design and configuration change reviews, identify and mitigate risks, and develop requirements language
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of DoD contractor production or manufacturing engineering processes
Ability to be a self-starter, proactive, customer-focused, technical leader, and team player with a proven track record of product development and customer satisfaction
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent team working skills
Master’s degree in Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
