The Opportunity:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI-Enabled Autonomous Technical Program Manager and Lead Scientist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will help build and lead R&D projects focused on developing, engineering, and integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of advanced algorithms and software solutions that enable the effective operation of autonomous systems. You will conduct experiments and simulations to evaluate the performance and robustness of AI software in various scenarios and environments. Your leadership expertise will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and product managers to ensure the successful integration of these technologies into the IAS development pipeline.

You Have:
· Experience in AI research and development with a focus on IAS
· Experience with AI techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or knowledge representation to solve complex problems in autonomous systems
· Experience with programming languages and frameworks, including C++, Python, ROS, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
· Experience with optimizing the efficiency and scalability of AI software using cloud computing, edge computing, or distributed systems
· Ability to develop innovative AI algorithms and solutions to improve the performance of IAS
· Ability to work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects, including managing stakeholder expectations, communicating project status updates, and addressing issues
· Ability to research and produce internal and external technical publications
· Ability to obtain a security clearance
· Master's degree
Nice If You Have:
· Experience with providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including overseeing their work and providing feedback to help them grow and develop their skills
· Experience with developing Test, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEV&V) procedures and techniques for IAS
· Experience with R&D proposal writing and organization
· Ability to build collaboration partnerships with industry and academic institutions
· Ability to identify opportunities for innovation by keeping up with the latest developments in AI and ML technologies and autonomous systems technologies
· Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Possession of excellent leadership skills
· Secret clearance
· Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
