Advanced Research Data Scientist, Senior

Key Role:

Apply expertise in Life Sciences consulting and assist clients to advance biomedical technologies and lead solution and delivery for current and prospective clients. Apply problem-solving skills to support programs focused on the discovery, development, transition, and delivery of biomedical services or products for federal clients. Advise federal program managers on program and portfolio strategy and help identify and mitigate risk and issues or technological gaps in the portfolio. Conduct market research and outreach to identify and provide scientific feedback on biomedical technologies Develop and support or lead communications of practical solutions to clients in the form of data-driven presentations, briefings, and reports. Support business development objectives by contributing to proposals and marketing efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with management of biomedical research and development projects or contracts
  • Experience in a delivery role focused on management, technology, and life sciences
  • Knowledge of preclinical research, biomedical data, and metadata management
  • Knowledge of activities for advanced development of biomedical products and technologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Master's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including scientific communications
  • Doctorate degree in Immunology, Biology, Cell or Microbiology Biology, Bioinformatics or related field
  • Project Management Certification, including Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
