Job Description
Key Role:
Apply expert understanding of public health disciplines to design, develop, and implement programs and policies. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with or for Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organizations (BFCC-QIOs)
- Experience with monitoring inpatient and outpatient costs
- Experience with reviews of claims cost accuracy, payer appeals, coordinating care during patient transitions of care, and reducing hospital readmissions through advocacy services
- Knowledge of applicable payment and quality methodologies
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in the BFCC field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with econometrics, statistics, and use of claims and medical records data
- Experience with beneficiary case reviews
- Experience with using national data to identify areas for quality improvement and increased patient safety
- Experience with engaging beneficiaries and their families to improve how health care is delivered
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to review and interpret regulatory and sub-regulatory guidance
- Possession of excellent oran and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Possession of excellent policy analysis skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
