Biostatistician

Key Role:

Provide advanced scientific statistical consulting and data analysis to support clinical health research. Provide statistical consulting and reviews of protocol SAP study reports. Support project teams and clinical development for medical countermeasure studies, including vaccine studies, with statistical analysis. Participate in the growth of the life sciences capability through client engagements, branding and marketing activities, and development of intellectual capital.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or biological sciences
  • Experience with statistical programming in SAS and R
  • Knowledge of clinical trial statistical design, modeling, and methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Public Trust
  • Doctorate degree in a Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, or Mathematics field

Additional Qualifications:       

  • Experience working with scientific and government stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and analytic tools
  • Ability to learn quickly about new research areas, strategies, or methodologies
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
