The Opportunity:

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you understand what it takes to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Your expertise in cloud operations, automation, DevOps principles, and CI/CD practices is complemented by a strong understanding of network protocols and security, allowing you to effectively address challenges in these areas. You'll possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align cloud operations with business goals.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a CloudOps Engineer 

  • Experience in cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance 

  • Experience working with software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology, such as cloud automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks 

  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices, such as unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing 

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes 

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 

  • Knowledge of cloud operations, including with Azure and AWS 

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools

  • Ability to learn new technologies

  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
