Cyber Engineering Team Lead

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture—you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering and leadership skills to design and develop secure systems for the US Navy? We’re looking for a Cyber Engineering Team Lead who can create solutions for clients that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a Cyber Engineering Team Lead at Booz Allen, you’ll lead and grow a fast-paced Cyber Engineering and Cyber Compliance team to meet the client’s needs and deadlines. You’ll coordinate work across Booz Allen teams and Vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to meet the Client's needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.

This is a chance to make a difference in the security of the DoD. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help clients overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like NDR, EDR, SEIMs, IAM, Advanced analytics, and a growing suite of cyber tools. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas with various cyber tools, vendors, and a mix of enterprise IT security and OT Security while leading a team of cyber professionals.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity or Information Systems Support
  • Experience with DoD, US government, or commercial practices to provide systems security support for IT systems
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), McAfee Endpoint Security System (ESS), or Host Based Security System (HBSS)

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with RMF accreditation efforts for DoD or Federal networks and information systems
  • Experience with teaching or training cybersecurity-related content to cybersecurity and non-cybersecurity audiences
