Job Description
Key Role:
Serve as a Senior Executive in Booz Allen’s Global Defense Sector (GDS) to help expand the firm’s Army business to modernize the Army’s data enterprise for complex missions including enterprise systems and platforms for both Military and Civilian executives. Use key relationships to bring a one-firm approach to emerging client needs for a long-term value proposition based on the Army’s strategic initiatives. Provide technical direction by implementing highly creative results through applying expertise in cloud, DevSecOps, data architectures, and identifying industry trends in defining scopes and appropriate approaches to new and emerging opportunities. Drive end-to-end business development, guidance, and implementation direction for all domain Systems of Systems architectures by developing new opportunities, amplifying diverse teams, and working with industry partners and clients throughout planning, investigation, design, and implementation of various physical and logical systems and results. Design the vision for how the Army ecosystem should evolve over time and apply strategic understanding and experience of Army domains, including business, warfighting, and enterprise, Army stakeholders and the enterprise initiatives to spearhead new and modernized Army solutions. Lead a diverse team and develop partnership strategies across the business and with various government, academic and industry entities, and organizations for technology-inspired transformation. Identify and prioritize emerging technologies and applications in the context of US DoD operational constraints, requirements, and steadiness, and define investment strategies to position, capture, and retain meaningful market share in defined addressable market segments.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in forming trusted partnerships with government or commercial organizations
12+ years of experience with designing, developing, and delivering technical innovations operations, including mission systems, software systems, and analytical solutions
10+ years of experience in supporting business development and complex mission essential efforts with the DoD
10+ years of experience with developing the analysis, architecture, design, development, test, deployment, and operations of complex integration-intensive enterprise software systems or data platforms
Experience with guiding the modernization of legacy systems or new systems using mature software development processes, Agile methodologies, DevSecOps resources and techniques, and cloud-based solutions and services
Ability to shape high performing cross-geography technical teams comprised of diverse disciplines, including mission expertise, data, analytics, software development, and cybersecurity
Ability to set the business strategic direction, increase resolute positioning in market, and successfully shaping and capturing technology-centric work in competitive solicitations
Ability to manage risk and achieve preferred outcomes in an exciting environment under challenging terms and conditions
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Army HDQA
Experience with communicating highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all levels of audiences
Knowledge of Army data plans, ecosystems, mission areas, and domains
Master’s degree
PMP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $190,000.00 to $360,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
