The Opportunity: 

As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user’s place and design the best way for them to engage. We’re looking for someone creative like you to work on a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment to develop compelling strategic communications in support of our client initiatives.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the team to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an agile team, you’ll developing for new products and services and produce visuals and communications for a variety of purposes, including client briefings and representations of stakeholder experiences. You'll work across teams, build knowledge of diverse capabilities and components of the project, and tell comprehensive stories visually. You'll convert complex data and information into graphics, mockups, diagrams, and presentations, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work. Help our clients meet their mission!

You Have: 

  • Experience with graphic design in a professional work environment

  • Experience with Adobe Suite creative apps, including InDesign and Illustrator

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively and be highly organized

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • Ability to think creatively and synthesize information

  • Ability to communicate concepts across different audiences and varying levels within an organization

  • Ability to demonstrate visual design expertise

  • Ability to take initiative and identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize approaches

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with UX and user-centered design

  • Knowledge of information architecture, workflow design, information management, and governance for site usability

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in data and analytics programs

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting and content creation skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
