As a lead systems engineer on our team, you’ll provide engineering technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical objectives. You will apply your model-based systems engineering skills to help solve complex technical challenges while leading and developing a team of junior practitioners. You will work with a diverse team to make recommendations and advise on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts while performing risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with providing systems engineering support, solving complex engineering problems

  • Experience with applying model-based systems engineering principles or toolsets to solve technical challenges or support engineering programs

  • Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle

  • Ability to support the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts, including Concepts of Operations, requirements analysis, interface design, system architecture development, or system performance analysis

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD technical and engineering requirements in support of Navy program offices

  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink

  • Experience with investigating design, safety, maintenance, and operational issues with Naval systems

  • OCSMP Model User Level 1 or OCUP Foundation Level 1 certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
