The Opportunity:
As a naval engineer, you know leading-edge ship design processes are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen, you can use your engineering expertise to develop next-generation defense tools and technology. We need your skills and expertise in naval engineering, marine engineering, Navy platforms, and Commercial design standards to develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.
As a naval engineer on our systems engineering team, you’ll provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace and maritime systems. Your experience in naval ship design or commercial ship design is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace and naval technology. You’ll work with a large community of system and naval engineers across the firm and collaborate with industry and government to deliver world-class solutions to validate industry ship designs and develop the future unmanned surface fleet. Your engineering knowledge will help the navy determine the design of the first PoR unmanned surface vessel to expand and improve their capabilities to influence the next iteration of warfighting.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with concept design or development of naval vessels
Knowledge of the American Bureau of Shipping Standards
Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with integration of Government Furnished Equipment on Naval vessels
Knowledge of the DoD Acquisitions process, including Gate 4/5
Knowledge of SHCP
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
