Network Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

A well designed network is critical to move data and enable our DoD client to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning, and we need you, a network engineer, who knows how to craft the exact network our client needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll design, build, configure, and operate a reliable network to support our nation’s critical infrastructure and support our national defense, working with Subject Matter Experts, customers, scientists and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You will resolve interoperability issues across platforms, and support the acquisition of hardware. You will put your hardware and software talents to good use by performing system administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a variety of network devices on a highly complex scientific network. You will be responsible for Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III support of network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, VPN devices and Intrusion Detection Systems IDS systems, ensuring the operational and mission capability of the networks, and oversee continuous monitoring of these devices to meet DoD and command requirements for Cybersecurity, to include completing or assisting with completion of security scans. This is your chance to grow your skills with DoD systems that deliver precise time standard for the world as well as cloud technologies, while continuing to grow your network engineering experience. Join us as we help to protect our nation’s critical infrastructure.
