In this role, you will shape the customer's mission by providing expertise on Littoral Combat Ships for the US Navy.
You will support the Navy with system design, integration, and fleet alterations required for the installation of advanced C4I electronic systems with an emphasis on the integration of these systems into various ships with varying equipment configurations. You'll assist with processing systems integration and test verification, validation, certifications, and interface definition studies of C4I system, subsystem, or system elements. You will perform technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for C4I subsystems and system elements. You'll work closely with systems subject matter experts, systems engineering specialists, ship designers, and fabrication trades to develop cost-effective systems and designs to meet requirements.

You Have:
Experience with NDE-NM, Afloat Master Planning System module (AMPS), NDE-ILS, NDE-EP, NDE-SPIDER, NDE-NTIRA, NDE-NM, and AMPS data
Experience with working in an office environment
Experience with preparing and reviewing briefings, presentations, reports, internal documents, correspondence, and weekly status inputs
Experience with using SharePoint, project or program management support, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of key Naval ship acquisition roles and organizations
Ability to maintain the Navy Data Environment (NDE) projects and track the overall status
Ability to work closely with program managers on a technical level and then translate that information into actionable capability decisions by the client organization
Ability to review the work of other engineers for accuracy and correctness
Secret clearance

Nice If You Have:
Experience with Navy C4I systems engineering, developing platform architecture, technology roadmap, analysis of alternatives, and delivery of network architectures for Navy shipbuilding programs
Experience with complex System-of-Systems (SoS) engineering development and acquisition efforts, including the integration of networked systems
Ability to apply problem-solving techniques when faced with complex problems under uncertainty
Ability to lead and collaborate with mixed teams comprised of government and industry personnel
Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule
Ability to lead small to large groups, typically with competing priorities, through a technical problem ending at a defendable solution
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
