Program and Project Management Specialist

Key Role:  

Provide project management support to a technical team in a government Program Management Office (PMO). Develop weekly project status reports. Identify and assess potential risks. Evaluate risks to ensure that they are appropriately mitigated. Provide insightful, quality reporting to internal Boards, Committees, and other key stakeholders to support project management processes. Leverage project management techniques to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of products, and ensure compliance with all contract requirements. Work collaboratively with government client lead and team staff to communicate project status, schedules, and risks, respond to actions and data calls, and prepare briefs that convey project status for a complex Navy Acquisition program. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional environment
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • 1+ years of experience with managing technical risks, identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing or providing inputs to status briefings and presentations
  • Experience with documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with building relationships
  • Knowledge of system and software development or implementation concepts
  • Knowledge of learning Power BI or Power Automate
  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent relationship management skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
