Job Description
Key Role:
Develop enterprise security strategy. Develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s organization IT assets to anticipate potential security risks, identify areas of weakness, and specify and plan for the security tools needed to respond to possible security breaches. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with designing, testing, and deploying complex Cybersecurity solutions in an enterprise environment
5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewall architecture and deployment
3+ years of experience with rule optimization, App ID and User ID implementation, SSL decryption and virtual firewalls
Experience with CASB deployments and operation, and SASE and SD-WAN deployments and operation
Experience with securing cloud-based systems
Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access
Knowledge of route optimization, dynamic routing, packet aggregation, network tapping, IPV6, and BGP
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of zero-trust security architecture
Knowledge of Splunk
Knowledge of Corelight
Knowledge of APCON
Ability to evaluate agency environments for security improvements
Possession of excellent analytical and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus
CCIE Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
