Strategic Communication Specialist

Key Role:
Support program teams by assisting in the translation of complex programmatic and technical information into executive-level products. Provide inputs to program-specific communications plans and enterprise change management strategies. Coordinate the development of executive briefs and communication products, offering initial inputs and storylines to ensure effective communication. Take the lead in crafting program specific communications plans tailored specifically for Navy and Marine Corps programs. Provide quality assurance support for both internal and external briefings to maintain consistency of messaging, content, and format. Develop concise communication materials such as "one-pagers" and talking points for Navy and Marine Corps programs, which are utilized in both internal and external engagements. Participate in external briefings to capture notes, actions, and feedback, utilizing this information to shape future briefings and enhance communication strategies. Assist in the creation of meeting minutes and other documentation to support executive meetings, ensuring that information is accurately recorded and disseminated as required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment

  • Experience with the development of executive briefs, communication products, and program-specific communications plans while managing multiple priorities

  • Experience in creating meeting minutes and documentation to support executive meetings, ensuring accurate recording and dissemination of information

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex programmatic and technical information to various audiences, including executives and stakeholders

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Strategic Communication Support with DoD or military services

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and practices

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
