Strategy and Change Consultant

The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about helping organizations understand and reach their goals? Many organizations know where they want to go, but they need strategy and change consultants to help them get there. We’re looking for you, a strategy and change consultant, who can partner with clients to help them identify their vision and long-term goals, as well as help them successfully navigate large scale organizational changes.

As a strategy and change consultant, your role will be to partner with your client to conduct assessments and analyses. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, you’ll help create a holistic view of the organization, as well as data-driven approaches to transform. You will also assess how change may impact business processes or the organization’s structure to develop an effective change strategy. Your ability to understand the effects of change in an organization and approaches to mitigate challenges is paramount to helping your clients achieve success.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 2+ years of experience in at least two of the following: strategic planning, organizational change management, organizational effectiveness, or organizational design and alignment
  • 2+ years of experience with leading data gathering and analysis activities, including facilitation of interviews and focus groups with senior level clients
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with working in a team-based consultant environment
  • Ability to forge relationships with key client contacts
  • Ability to communicate in both verbal and written forms with all levels of staff and clients
  • Ability to use critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative taking expertise on a daily basis
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Federal Government or DoD agencies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Ability to serve as a task or workstream lead
  • Ability to oversee 2-3 individuals on a project
  • Ability to provide work samples
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • Change Management Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
