Submarine Combat System Program Analyst

The Opportunity: 

An effective weapon's system procurement program requires an analyst who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need you, a seasoned program analyst who can ensure our combat and weapons control system program achieves success.

As a lead program analyst on our team, you’ll design, implement and maintain impactful programs by guiding our technical team and delivering excellence to the Government's technical lead. Our client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints and staffing challenges. As an authority in weapons system acquisition and technologies, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing technical products and more. This is your chance to impact software and hardware requirements, weapons systems procurement, strategy and project scheduling and risk while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in Engineering or Science Management, Operations Research Analysis, or Financial or Cost Analysis

  • 8+ years of experience with Navy acquisition or In-Service Programs

  • Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Cyber Security field

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Navy Finance and Contracting and Navy Programming Planning Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) Process

  • Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer

  • Experience with Navy, DoD, or Acquisition programs

  • Experience with Navy Submarines or Navy combat systems

  • Experience with Agile software development

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Cyber Security field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
