As a Systems Modeling Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the mission by leading systems engineering and modeling efforts. You Have:
5+ years of experience with solving complex systems engineering problems using standard methodologies
Experience with the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and systems modeling software in the development of systems architecture products to support design activities for hardware and software systems
Experience with systems engineering activities, including requirements analyses, functional analyses, design solutions formulation, or generation or maintenance of systems architecture products
Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDaF) for architectural designs
Knowledge of DoD Interoperability Certification, Information Support Plan, and Enterprise Architecture
Knowledge of systems engineering processes through all phases of system development
Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule
Ability to define the architecture of a system and develop and document system requirements and specifications
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Software Development field
Nice If You Have:
Experience in working with DoD, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command clients
Experience with applying model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles and toolsets to solve technical challenges or support engineering programs, including SysML, DoDAF, UML, Cameo, or MagicDraw
Experience with a variety of analytical and computational methods, including classical and modern statistics, differential equations, or linear algebra
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning
Experience with developing autonomy architecture for defense applications
Experience with software autonomy stack and interfaces to sensors
Ability to demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving and learn and apply new methods as required by the particular analysis
Master's degree an Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Software Development field
SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
