Job Description

Remote Work:
Job Number:
Test and Evaluation Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a test engineer, you’ll analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop Test and Evaluation (T&E) plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection, perform test data analysis, and report status and results. You’ll also support the development of Government T&E documentation and work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.

As a test engineer on our team, you will use your experience to work with the testers, developers, engineers, and cyber experts from the Navy, Warfare Centers, and other testing agencies to evaluate hardware and software developed for integration into Fleet assets. You will build test plans with mission-based test cases based on user stories. Using test automation and manual processes, you will generate data and execute the test cases to see how the system performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the system. You will be developing T&E plans and will be evaluating the effectiveness, suitability, and cybersecurity of the program. Additionally, your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate large-scale cybersecurity systems. You will grow your skills by merging systems engineering, T&E, and cybersecurity to create robust, comprehensive cybersecurity test plans to effectively evaluate cyber resiliency and survivability against threats to our nation’s systems. As many T&E processes are well understood, Booz Allen is an industry leader in innovation, and we are looking for motivated and creative talent looking to make a difference in the future warfighting landscape.
