Job Description
Key Role:
Serve as the focal point for planning, managing, and coordinating life cycle logistics support. Develop and communicate logistics requirements that have far-reaching consequences for logistics design. Lead in the implementation and maintenance of information, including status for technology-based hardware and software assets. Serve as the technical advisor on contracts. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Provide thorough and proper logistics inputs to supportability for our future weapon systems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in acquisitions in the DoD
- Experience writing Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP)
- Knowledge of basic theories and principles of DoD acquisition and maintenance requirements and organizational functions involved in logistical support
- Knowledge of logistical requirements in support of program decision milestones
- Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals, identify support requirements, including funding and technical support requirements, and establish relationships between the participants involved in deploying the plan
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with product support management principles
- Experience with weapons or munitions testing
- Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-502 Acquisition Handbook
- Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) elements
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
