The Challenge:
Are you looking for an opportunity to build a powerhouse system that will improve U.S. Army weapon systems? You know a good system is more than just a nice-looking interface + data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to build a user focused solution. As a software engineer, you’ll solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you with the skills and experience to build embedded software products for military applications from vision to production-ready system.
As a software engineer on our team, you’ll work directly with your customer to overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like domain-driven design alongside open source frameworks and tools like RedHat. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile life cycle development, you’ll build systems to shape the military's weapon systems. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Work with us as we build systems to change Defense weapon systems for the better.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with software development, software maintenance, and system integration
Experience with C and C++ software development
Knowledge of the software development life cycle, including Agile software development methodology
Ability to lead the software development team through all phases of the software development life cycle
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with program management, stakeholder management, and intellectual capital management
Ability to translate stakeholder and system needs into software requirements
Ability to model, architect, design, develop, code, integrate, test, and manage embedded software solutions
Secret clearance
Master's degree
