Knowledge Management Specialist

Key Role:

Support the US Military in executing strategic and tactical knowledge management (KM) initiatives. Conduct process mapping, data gathering, and analysis activities with clients, including compiling and developing process inventories, process maps, and knowledge maps. Recommend and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, and tools, including assessment reports and road maps to improve practices. Demonstrate functional expertise in the management of deliverables and development of products, including briefings and reports. Leverage industry best practices in KM strategy. Review and submit a training curriculum through the Foreign Disclosure Officer to ensure compliance with releasability.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with knowledge management

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

-Experience with leading the design and implementation of KM technologies, including system administration, training, and requirements analysis, defining indexes and metadata tags, digitizing documents, and implementing quality assurance standards

-Ability to work independently or in a team environment

-TS/SCI clearance

-AA or AS degree and 7 years of experience with knowledge management, BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience with knowledge management, or 11 years of experience with knowledge management in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with multiple functional areas in business management consulting, including human capital, change management, performance management, strategic planning, or IT requirements analysis preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 

-Possession of excellent organizational skills 

-Knowledge Management, Business Process Reengineering, or Change Management certifications, including CKM, Lean Six Sigma, CMAP, and LaMarsh Managed Change preferred
