CAD Analyst
Key Role:
Serve as the liaison between the Planning Chief and GIS and Geospatial teams. Design facility layouts to support the planning team in drafting Master Plans and functional layouts. Utilize AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the drafting and production of site layouts for civil construction projects and other technical design drawings. Employ CAD or GIS to analyze and develop planning documents and requirements. Model and analyze civil and utility information, maps, drawings, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data. Draft site layouts that will be utilized by the GIS or BIM team for project site approvals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in AutoCAD for drafting and design tasks
- Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, for spatial analysis and mapping
- Experience with Japan’s Host Nation Construction Program
- Ability to interpret and work with civil and utility plans and data
- Ability to pay attention to detail and show accuracy in drafting and documentation
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience integrating CAD and GIS data for comprehensive planning documents
- Experience in modeling and analyzing civil and utility infrastructure using BIM tools
- Experience drafting site layouts that have been approved for civil construction projects
- Ability to serve as an effective liaison between planning chiefs and geospatial teams, ensuring alignment of design objectives
- Possession of strong analytical skills, for evaluating topographical and geologic information
- Possession of strong communication skills, to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Master’s degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
