The Opportunity:
As a Risk Portfolio Management Lead, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced risk management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Department of Defense. You will serve as the leader of the Risk Portfolio to transform and manage the digital risk tools with a defined set of outcomes and objectives with input from senior leaders. Drive coordination with complementary functions and programs, including understanding a complimenting strategic planning, intelligence cycles, and logistics planning. Ensure regular communication with and direct the preparation and presentation of verbal or written briefings on risk visualization, as needed, to senior leaders within the Department of Defense. Advise on new system implementation, software development, and other strategic initiatives to ensure that doctrinal risk assessments are considered and designed into the process. Identify opportunities with industry partners to enhance the risk visualization function by leveraging emerging technologies and data analytics to ensure the maintenance and implementation of best-of-breed software. Provide thought leadership to identify opportunities and challenges related to holistic risk assessment and visualization. Enable and foster a culture of teamwork on a high visibility defense project in the CJADC2 space.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in a military, intelligence, or law enforcement organization conducting operational level planning, including planning in joint and multi-domain environments
Experience in a joint operational environment
Experience supporting senior decision makers
Experience working with DoD systems and software
Knowledge of CCMD policy and organizational structure
Knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, course of action development, analysis, comparison, recommendation, approval, and risk assessments
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with JADC2 systems, processes, applications, and requirements
Experience integrating digital engineering into prototyping, experimentation, and analysis efforts
Experience with major CJCS exercise design and support
Experience in technical roles designing or advising in the design of software solutions
Experience with Joint Staff Processes and Procedures
Knowledge of JRAM Methodology
Knowledge of Military CRM Practices
Knowledge of DoD software platforms and vendors in the space
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
