Project Control Analyst

The Opportunity:  

As a Project Control Analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help your client succeed. You’ll work with program management to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals for a portfolio of tasks in the security sector.

As a key member of our Project Control Organization (PCO) team, you'll promote the achievement of financial objectives by providing subject matter expertise and consulting on programmatic financial matters. You'll cultivate and implement strategies at the program level to drive financial performance in alignment with group goals. You’ll leverage a comprehensive understanding of the full life cycle program and contract financial management. You’ll facilitate collaboration across corporate core and business program organizations to proactively prevent and mitigate risk on the highest-risk programs. You'll enjoy a highly impactful role that touches upon financial performance, key contract dynamics, cash collection, DSO management, program management, green team strategic support, contractual compliance issues, and high-risk PMR and IPR support.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with financial modeling, including funding analyses, and cost and revenue projections to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottoms-up analysis and historical trends
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculation and analysis
  • Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it appropriately, and read and interpret contractual requirements
  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
  • Ability to be a team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis
  • Ability to identify program risks, assist with associated mitigation plans, and assist with identifying and prioritizing requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
