The Opportunity:

Do you want to develop a training program that will help set the foundation to meet the DoDs goal of becoming a data-centric organization? As a learning specialist, you know that even the best tools and processes can’t have impact without the right training. Constructing an interactive course that teaches critical information requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customers. We have an opportunity for an instructional systems designer or trainer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in defense mission readiness by crafting effective training.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative learning specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive data literacy training program spanning months and years that will transform and evolve an entire organization and help promote a data-driven culture. On our team, you’ll work with SMEs, product designers, and clients to capture training needs and recommend the right learning solutions to accomplish the mission. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you’ll design synchronous and asynchronous material, performance support tools, and course delivery. You’ll build training material with multimedia specialists, graphic artists, and SMEs, following various learning models. You’ll use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to generate new ideas that facilitate an engaging, interactive learning experience on screen or in a classroom, and will automate learning modules to create an effective program. You will collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then refine training for maximum impact.

You’ll develop a long-term strategic plan and create learning incentives that will help drive broad organizational data culture change through training. This is a chance to use your deep understanding of training methodologies to build a creative learning experience that engages students and produces client results. Join us as we improve mission readiness through learner-centered instructional design and development.
