As a defense mission analyst, you’ll bring your consulting and analytical background to work on projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support a headquarters-level program with critical national security decision-making. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to foreign threats or homeland security as part of service or joint missions. You’ll impact the work we do for the DoD and the solutions we deliver for national security.

You Have:  

  • Experience with records management

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and analyze complex material

  • Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of government officials, both within client spaces and in external agencies, including senior military officers

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience working in a DoD regional command or headquarters organization, or 4+ years of experience working in a DoD regional command or headquarters organization in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience working with foreign disclosure, counterintelligence, or security within the DoD

  • Experience in engagements with foreign partners

  • Experience working with the Foreign Visits System (FVS) or as a Contact Officer for a foreign visit

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations or a related field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
