Job Description
Key Role:
Apply the current infrastructure expertise in supporting video teleconferencing (VTC) and collaborative Audiovisual (AV) efforts using Microsoft Teams. Support VTC and AV with cabling, equipment installations, and configuration, supporting pulling and running cables for new equipment installation. Interpret blueprints, instructions, or user guides to install and configure a new VTC and AV environment. Provide customer insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Use technical expertise to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical networks. Provide customer support for highly visible VTC and AV operations and troubleshooting efforts. Ensure the customer's events are monitored and resolve conference interruptions as soon as possible. Troubleshoot and repair multimedia equipment and data cabling, including ceiling-mounted video projectors, wall control switches, cable patch panels, speakers, powered screens, consoles, and multimedia equipment. Diagnose and repair equipment issues that have been escalated to Tier III, and sustain the IT and AV support for all daily operation and maintenance of the AV and administrator for Microsoft Teams Live events for Auditorium events.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience designing, installing, and configuring AV/VTC solutions
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting AV systems that integrate with MS Teams
- Knowledge of Extron or Cisco control systems or switch programming
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with AMX, Polycom, and Creston AV configuration and programming
- Experience using ServiceNow and program management tools such as MS Project and Jira
- Ability to work independently to complete assignments and projects effectively in a timely manner
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
