As a Solution Architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture, requirements, design specifications, and evaluation criteria. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way U.S. Customs and Border Protection uses technology including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. And, what do you do next in a career where you’ve reached this level? You mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a software or cloud solution architect and leading Agile teams in delivery of microservice and API based applications

  • Experience supporting FEDRAMP accreditation, ATO

  • Experience with data platforms, such as Databricks, AWS EMR, Redshift

  • Experience with cloud service platforms, such as AWS, GCP and Azure

  • Experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning tools, such as Generative AI, LLM and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • DHS Suitability

  • Bachelor's degree

  • CSP Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience briefing and supporting senior government decision makers

  • Experience working with senior agency architects

  • Experience supporting architectural reviews

  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
