Information Environment Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an Information Environment Analyst, you will be the expert analyst for our support to information operations. You will get to collect, process, analyze, and present information with insights into adversary activities in the information environment. You will also lead the planning and delivery of quantitative and qualitative assessments to measure the impact of maritime security operations in Europe and Africa. You will work with staff through the client’s process and collaborate with partner organizations to ensure planners have awareness of developments in the information environment. Additionally, you will introduce new research methods and technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, for automated and predictive analysis to help senior commanders make decisions.

You Have

  • Experience with information operations or open-source intelligence analysis
  • Experience with data platform tools for news and social media analysis
  • Experience developing measures of performance and effectiveness
  • Experience developing presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data with Microsoft Excel
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice if You Have:

  • Experience supporting CCMDs, Component Commands, or Fleets
  • Experience on HQ staff supporting 3-and-4-star military commands
  • Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with visualization tools, including Tableau, RStudio, or Power BI
  • Knowledge of Navy Information Operations and the Navy Planning Process
  • Master’s degree in Communications, Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Social Sciences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
