We need you to bring your knowledge to utilize and contribute insights into enhancing our capabilities within Booz Allen’s Corporate Core supporting the mission of the Internal Audit Data Analytic team.

As a Corporate Core analyst on our Internal Audit Data Analytic team, you’ll partner with other auditors and external stakeholder to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle to solve complex problems. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you’ll also advise other auditors and external stakeholders on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact such as helping to detect fraud, identify cyber and financial control weaknesses and automating and optimizing analytic processes. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute:

As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:

  • Share your data analytics expertise with team members to support client and stakeholder relationships

  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate models through the collection, interpretation, evaluation and analysis of small and large data sets

  • Develop future and support current automated scripting solutions within Internal Audit

  • Lead impactful work and support leadership decision-making across our organization

  • Apply communicative, consultative, and analytical expertise by articulating analytic model requirements and trends based on the audience

  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge and skills

  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive risk focus outcomes

  • Apply data visualizations through different formats such as graphs, tables, or PowerPoint

You Have:

  • Experience in internal or external auditing in preparing and reviewing workpapers and work products  like audit plans, process documentation, test plans, or audit reports

  • Experience working with dashboard development tools, including Tableau or MS Power BI

  • Experience with processing and cleaning data

  • Experience understanding and developing automated scripts

  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to obtain SEC+ or CISSP Certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with programming capabilities, including scripts, Python, or C++

  • Experience working with modeling tools such as Alteryx

  • Knowledge of risk methodologies and frameworks

  • Knowledge of professional auditing practices and standards

  • Ability to work with individuals at every level

  • Possession of excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
