Key Role:

Leverage necessary consulting, managerial, analytical, and organizational expertise to assist in identifying and analyzing the clients' Force Design related capability gaps. Support all facets of capability gap identification and analysis, review of concepts, communication requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and other technical and non-technical documents. Retrieve data from a variety of sources and individuals to identify the scope and breadth of communication gaps, to analyze and evaluate the data, and to write collaborative, researched solution proposals. Analyze agendas, information material, requirements letters, CONOPs, and session summaries of capability gap identification and analysis. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise with a focus on doctrine, conduct research, and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience with DoD organizations at the Combatant Command level
  • Experience with Joint Planning at the Combatant Command Level
  • Knowledge of operating in a multinational environment and working directly at a strategic-level staff with foreign partner and Allied militaries
  • Knowledge of joint planning publications, authorities, and permissions
  • Knowledge of DOTMPLF-P actions or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) management
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Joint Staff organizational decision-making processes
  • Master's degree
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Formal Military Planning Schooling

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
