Multimedia Videographer and Producer

Key Role: 

Serve as a multimedia subject matter expert (SME) on a team providing strategic communication capabilities execution to a Special Operations organization. Understand how the Command obtains its resources, authorities, and operational support as well as how the Command can effectively communicate to strengthen the alignment, partnerships and relationships required to achieve organizational priorities. Propose, plan, develop, coordinate, and synchronize the production and dissemination of command-level multimedia messaging products and collaborative campaigns for external and internal Command messaging priorities. Integrate with Command leaders and staffs, including in subordinate and supporting organizations, to identify and propose actionable solutions for communication risks and opportunities. Coordinate and execute complex multimedia productions, including messaging development, scripting, storyboarding, shooting, acquiring B-roll, interviewing, sound design, editing, and motion graphics creation and integration. Ensure that all multimedia products have the same aesthetic and branding. Conduct and oversee relevant research. Provide counsel on the capabilities and efficacy of various multimedia products. Train personnel on multimedia production techniques and technologies. Educate and inform the Command of the utility of Public Affairs and strategic communication to drive change and align priorities. Thrive in an agile, adaptive, and challenging team atmosphere and be able to excel during travel to austere environments. Monitor, adapt, incorporate, and disseminate relevant best practices and technologies from industry and academia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience providing strategic messaging multimedia products in support of government or industry objectives
  • 3+ years of experience producing effective video and photography messaging products
  • Experience with communication tools to prepare and present multimedia presentations to varied audiences, including Apple or Adobe tools such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Premier, and animation and sound design tools
  • Ability to flex and adapt working hours to meet the operational requirements of a dynamic Command
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the evolving global security environment, including emerging areas of concern, asymmetric threats, and Special Operations capabilities, challenges, and priorities

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
