IT Infrastructure Lead

Key Role:

Designs, installs, configures, and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure to meet the business needs. Monitors and troubleshoots problems as needed. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in planning, designing, installing, maintaining, upgrading, and retirement of IT systems, both on prem and in the cloud

  • Experience troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, critical thinking, and multitasking skills to solve network issues promptly

  • Experience leading a team to install and maintain data servers and network equipment

  • Experience monitoring the day-to-day performance of servers, maintaining an optimally controlled environment for servers, and troubleshooting network and server problems

  • Knowledge of monitors, switches, routers, and other technical equipment

  • Ability to perform urgent repairs outside of normal business hours

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Technology Engineering or Math, and 20+ years of experience in engineering or 24+ years of experience in engineering in lieu of degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
