The Opportunity:
As an Operations Security and Signature Management Planner, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you’ll integrate Operations Security (OPSEC) into all contingency plans and operations plans and ensure that OPSEC capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes. Additionally, your creativity will be significant for using information systems and information-related capabilities (IRC), integrating with interagency and the intelligence community (IC), and developing innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the cyber electromagnetic spectrum, traditional media, and social media. You must also consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, risk assessments, and product production.
In this role, you’ll use your passion to ensure OPSEC is integrated into all contingency plans and operations plans to ensure that OPSEC capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes. You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work alongside a team to conduct research, prepare charts, graphs, and reports to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with OPSEC planning at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces
Knowledge of service departments such as the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, including functions and their relationships to the CCMD to coordinate OPSEC actions in appropriate channels such as Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint channels
Knowledge of Information Operations (IO) competencies to assist planners as required
Knowledge of IO, military deception (MILDEC), OPSEC, electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall warfighting functions that support operations
Ability to apply technical skills to operational and tactical planning or execution, identify and track measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness, and provide advice concerning the application of OPSEC during the development of operational concepts
Ability to effectively advise, and negotiate with various managers, military officials, and senior leaders
Ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO directives in support of maneuver elements
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with joint or combined military operations and interagency coordination
Experience integrating OPSEC capabilities into cyber plans and operations
Knowledge of military command relationships and command and control (C2) procedures
Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies
Ability to assist the recommendation of changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including briefing skills
Bachelor's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
