Compensation Incentive and Governance Partner Lead

Key Role:

Designing, implement, and manage comprehensive broad-based compensation programs for an assigned client group to ensure our compensation strategies are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the firm’s goals and business strategies. Lead the development and execution of broad-based compensation strategies that support business objectives to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Work with internal partners and stakeholders, including Compensation, People Services, Sector Clients, Finance, Legal, or IT, on a regular basis, providing expert guidance and recommendations to solve a variety of complex business challenges. Lead strategic projects, key initiatives, or processes across account groups. Lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide variable incentive plans and one-time payment (OTP) plans. Evaluate effectiveness, competitiveness, and governance of OTP plans and model potential impacts of alternatives. Design, develop, and implement incentive plans and governance, ensuring alignment to business intent, program understanding, and execution details. Develop and deliver training programs to educate People Services and leadership on various compensation or incentive programs. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Broad-Based Compensation

  • 5+ years of experience in incentive plan design

  • 5+ years of experience in client management or consulting

  • 3+ years of experience with Excel and developing data-based stories in PowerPoint

  • Experience with Human Resource technologies, including HRIS systems

  • Knowledge of employment law, compensation management, salary planning, workforce analytics, and project administration

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Workday and benchmarking tools such as MarketPay

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DCAA or any regulatory body on compensation matters

  • Ability to leverage consulting expertise, untangle and understand complex problems, and make recommendations to help the company scale quickly

  • Ability to perform advanced data modeling or experience in data reporting platforms such as Tableau

  • Ability to think creatively and provide strategic thought leadership, with proven influencing skills at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to deliver client-ready products

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related analytical field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
