EPM Cloud Application Developer

The Opportunity:  

Manage the requirements gathering, development, and delivery of solution-oriented applications using Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services in EPM Cloud. Provide full life cycle development, support, and project management for planning applications, including the identification, creation, and documentation of business requirements, key process development, rules, Essbase calculations, and data sourcing strategies while providing user support through training and documentation. Ensure that rules and procedures for testing and promoting code are followed. Analyze processes to monitor and control data integrity, quality, and security controls. Apply critical and logical thinking to address and debug system and process-related issues. Communicate regularly with management, colleagues, and clients to provide project status updates and present available development capabilities.

You Have:   

  • 3+ years of experience with development for Hyperion planning

  • Experience with full life cycle project management and development, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, rollout, and implementation

  • Ability to drive client and peer relationships and facilitate information-gathering sessions to elicit requirements using multiple methods

  • Ability to perform detailed analysis and research and manage deadlines across multiple deliverables

  • Ability to create detailed project documentation, including discussions, considerations, and requirements

  • Ability to quickly learn new EPM software tools and develop integration and deployment strategies

  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking to address and troubleshoot bugs and process or system-related issues

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or computer science

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with Government Cost Accounting and Forward Pricing Rate Proposals

  • Experience with managing applications that meet Sarbanes Oxley SOX or process and access controls

  • Knowledge of Databricks SQL

  • Knowledge of basic ETL concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
