Compensation and Recognition Consulting, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Develop and lead a team of high-performing compensation and recognition professionals to provide strategic consultation and problem-solving regarding broad-based, non-executive compensation programs, companywide recognition, and one-time payment programs. Serve as a strategic advisor to sector leadership and internal partners such as People Services, Finance, Legal, and regulatory compliance organizations, to ensure a competitive compensation position, effective recognition strategy, and positive employee experience. Establish and maintain value-add consultation offerings to sectors and internal partners regarding companywide programs or processes, including conducting in-depth analyses and modeling in support of scenarios and problem statements. Drive companywide and sector-specific consulting initiatives related to compensation and recognition programs, inclusive of leading a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring quality deliverables, and achieving intended outcomes. Develop vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmaps and deliver company-wide recognition and one-time payment (OTP) programs. Support execution of annual cycles across and within sectors, inclusive of training and communication support. Contribute to the long-term vision for companywide programs, policies, and administration in partnership with the Compensation Delivery and Delivery team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Total Rewards for a company with 10,000+ employees and a large global footprint

  • 7+ years of experience applying advanced theories, principles, and concepts to develop solutions to complex pay and recognition challenges, including differentiated reward and recognition programs

  • 5+ years of experience working with a wide latitude of direction and support, including advising leaders, building relationships, and serving as a results-oriented change agent

  • 5+ years of experience with leadership and development of compensation or recognition professionals

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Workday environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DCAA and dealing with DCAA or any regulatory body on compensation matters

  • Knowledge of the key drivers, issues, and constraints of the business and external market landscape

  • Ability to think creatively, provide strategic thought leadership, and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to leverage consulting expertise, untangle complex problems, and make recommendations to help the company scale quickly

  • Ability to successfully lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and pivot quickly in a growth mindset

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent business orientation

  • Ability to deliver client-ready products

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
