Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support government clients with managing major DoD acquisition programs by applying knowledge of the DoD acquisition framework. Provide strategic recommendations and guidance regarding acquisition pathways and the use of rapid or accelerated acquisition techniques. Assist clients with developing and executing acquisition strategies, performing analyses, and developing and reviewing documentation. Support and provide recommendations for upcoming program milestone or authority to proceed decisions and develop milestone or decision briefs to convey program plans to stakeholders. Monitor the effectiveness of achieving program goals and objectives, including cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance and support program acquisition reporting, such as Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES).

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) I, II, or III Program Management Office (PMO) or Program Executive Office (PEO) that manages the acquisition of large, complex information systems or weapon system projects requiring development, integration, implementation, training, and sustainment

-Experience with rapid or accelerated acquisition pathways and the use of Other Transaction Authority (OTA)

-Experience with producing client-ready deliverables to support senior executive or flag level decision meetings

-Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to junior team members

-Ability to coordinate tasks with client supervisors in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management 

Additional Qualifications:

-Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA PM Level III Certification preferred
