Advanced Computing Systems Research Scientist

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design computing systems and modeling and simulation tools in support of research for High Performance Computing (HPC). Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize the future of computing. You’ll develop your skills in advanced computing systems while gaining experience in research supporting the intelligence mission. As a member of a high function and collaborative research team you will provide expert advice and evaluate the application of scientific principles and concepts. Maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, staying abreast of the scientific literature and conferences. You Have:

-Experience with planning laboratory research

-Experience with designing, developing, and executing scientific studies

-Experience with conducting feasibility studies

-Experience with applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 7+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap

-Ability to coordinate interdepartmental activities and research

-Ability to participate in the development of intellectual property

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with High Performance Computing technology

-Knowledge of parallel computing and data analytics

-BS degree preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
