Agile Requirements Analyst

Key Role:
Formulate and define systems scope and objective based on both user needs and comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Analyze or modify procedures to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capability and limitations, operating time, and form of expected results, including analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into proper system requirement specifications. Guide and advise junior business systems analysts. Work at the highest level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience as a business analyst

-Experience in working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies

-Experience in facilitating joint application development interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions with end-users, clients, stakeholders, and development teams

-Experience in working as a liaison interacting with various stakeholders to gather the system requirements for different projects

-Experience with writing and analyzing Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and User Guides and propose changes as per various internal and external requirements gathered for process improvement

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with rational collaboration life cycle management (CLM) or similar CLM tools

-Experience with supporting sprint activities, including planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews

-Experience in teaching technical teams basic Agile framework concepts
-Knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and XP

-Ability to travel to the client site in New Carrollton, MD 3 days per week with periodic travel to local offices in the DC Metro Area, including Washington, DC, Mclean, VA, and Rockville, MD

-One or more of the following certifications: CSM, ICAgile, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist
