Anti-Submarine Warfare/Surface Warfare Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as ASW/SUW analyst in a Navy training organization, review ASW/SUW requirements and operation documents, assess mission area capabilities by analyzing Fleet Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), and develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Provide recommendations on capability gap evaluations, tactical priorities and research requirements, development procurements, and training. Advise on ASW/SUW requirements and POM development and observe and assess unit- and group-level mission area readiness. Review, update, and develop Tactical Memorandum (TACMEMO), Tactical Bulletins (TACBUL), Fleet Advisory Messages (FAMs), Joint Publications (JPs), Navy Warfare Publications (NWPs), and Navy TTP. Provide feedback to the Fleet Experimentation (FLEX) program to test new technologies, conduct risk reduction measures, refine TTP, and validate tactics. Participate in the Fleet Collaborative Team (FCT) and provide feedback to the process and products of the Warfighter Improvement Processes (WIP) for each mission area. Compile, analyze, and consolidate technical information into clear, understandable documentation and provide feedback on the analysis of programmatic performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Navy Fleet ASW and SUW mission area operations, including Fleet training and ASW/SUW requirements and TTP review

-5+ years of experience with assessing readiness and key performance metrics and preparing data displays for high-level briefings

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with Navy Fleet Training

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Navy Enlisted Surface Warfare or Surface Warfare Officer Qualification
