Anti-Submarine Warfare/Surface Warfare Analyst/Trainer, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a lead Anti-Submarine Warfare/Anti-Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW) analyst and trainer in a Navy training organization. Review ASW/SUW requirements and operation documents, perform instructor duties in advanced warfare tactics, and develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Provide recommendations on capability gap evaluations, tactical priorities and research requirements, development procurements, and training. Advise on ASW/SUW requirements and POM development. Instruct in a formal schoolhouse and classroom environment during Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) programs and perform operator set-up, operations, and troubleshooting of enabling C4I systems. Review, update, and develop Tactical Memorandum (TACMEMO), Fleet Advisory Messages (FAMs), Joint Publications (JPs), Navy Warfare Publications (NWPs), and Navy TTP.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with Navy Fleet ASW and SUW mission area operations, including Fleet training and ASW and SUW requirements and TTP review

-Experience with assessing readiness and key performance metrics and preparing data displays for Flag-level briefings

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree 

-Navy Surface Warfare Officer Qualification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a Shipboard Training Officer or collateral duty training

-Experience as a Navy instructor

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Afloat Training Specialist (ATS) or Master Training Specialist (MTS) Qualification

-Sea Combat Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) Qualification
