Anti-Threat/Force Protection Specialist

Key Role:

Apply expertise in anti-threat (AT), force protection (FP), and mission assurance programs. Conduct risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and managing risks and making recommendations for improvement. Analyze and recommend AT and FP policies and procedures, including AT and FP operation and concept plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and security measures. Analyze the preparation of plans, procedures, risk and vulnerability assessments, reviews, and assessments of protection profile requirements and capabilities. Collaborate with internal and external counterparts and agencies, including Combatant or Functional Commands. Prepare and brief the current status of command AT and FP posture and any issues or threats to the weekly update briefs to the client commander. Attend exercise planning conferences, provide injects to the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL), and participate in exercise execution.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with AT, FP, and critical infrastructure programs

-Experience in the Pacific Rim region

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the Indo-Pacific theater

-Experience with in-depth research on topics and functional areas

-Knowledge of implementing solutions to facilitate assessments

-Knowledge of strategic planning, national military strategy, and operational-level C2 and Joint operations

-Ability to develop and present analyses using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Ability to gather, analyze, and organize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data

-Active TS/SCI clearance
