Aviation Energy Senior Analyst

Key Role:

Support clients analyzing demand and supply dispositions in aviation training and operations to maximize the effective use of energy. Use the output from financial and analytical models to conduct analysis to reduce energy consumption, improve operational effectiveness, and decrease total life cycle operating costs. Apply quantitative and communication expertise to develop, refine, and apply a variety of analytical methods to help transform large sets of data into the knowledge clients can use. Provide analytical support for the development of requirements and acquisition policies, including energy analysis for modifications to existing systems and new systems.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as a Rated Air Force Officer

-Experience in interfacing with and briefing mid- to senior-level Military Officers and government civilians

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

-Ability to write high-quality assessments and briefings for a senior-level audience 

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as a pilot or navigator preferred

-Experience with Headquarters Air Force or Major Command staff

-Experience in working with Mobility Air Force or Combat Air Force fuel efficiency issues

-Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) or the defense acquisition process

-Experience with process improvement tools and techniques

-Experience with project management

-Experience with an overseas deployment

-Knowledge of energy-related subject matter

-Knowledge of energy policy development for a government or industry

-Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and work in a collaborative team environment

-Possession of excellent leadership, research, interpersonal, and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
