Budget Management Support Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Provide budget analyst support to a client's program management offices. Analyze the formulation of a budget statement and the tracking and management of budget changes. Provide advisory support for the preparation of clear budgetary planning or short term and long-term future planning, including the financial implications of any decisions before proceeding, financial, managerial, staffing and service delivery issues, and allocation of resources. Provide budget analysis of each project within budget allocation, including analyzing the preparation of budget spreadsheets detailing pipeline actions, commitments, obligations, and balances, the preparation of necessary spreadsheets and appropriate documentation to support required financial data calls, as required, and ensuring all financial data is properly annotated, administered, and monitored in a portfolio management control spreadsheet through the end of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Host required meetings and forums to provide stakeholders with increased visibility of planned budgets and events and provide weekly briefing minutes to the solutions resource management branch director (SRMB) and key staff. Submit detailed financial forecasts of planned funding execution to portfolio management.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience in a professional work environment

-Knowledge of budget or financial analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to complete required training courses, including Project Management Methodology courses and HIPAA within six months of hire

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DoD budgets
-Secret clearance
