Business Financial Manager

Key Role:

Interface directly with the client, various offices within Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and external naval activities. Manage the day-to-day financial tracking and reporting of FMS case activity and the financial status of all open funding documents. Communicate with multiple USG officials to obtain funding documents and determine the status of these funding documents, research and correct Official Undistributed Disbursements (OUDs), create work packages to resolve discrepancies, review and generate weekly or monthly reports from accounting or document systems, and report status of open documents to the client. Perform annual active case reviews for active cases. Obtain required reports for the review and analyze the information and interface with government technical project managers to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations. Conduct and lead audits and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with finance or contracts and Microsoft Office tools
-Ability to exhibit analytical expertise and be resourceful and detail-oriented, including prioritizing work

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with financial operations in support of DoD Security Assistance programs

-Experience with financial tracking systems, including MISIL, DIFS, Cobra, Wish, Proud, STARS, SCIP, CEPT, EDA, Information Warehouse, AutoDoc, and PRISMS

-Experience with large US Navy platform training programs

-Experience with International Security Cooperation Policy
-Knowledge of FMS Case Financial Management
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
