Business Process Consultant, Mid

Key Role:
Serve as a business process consultant, including supporting the deployment of state-of-the-art technology that will advance the client’s mission and improve customer satisfaction. Leverage expertise in management consulting and process improvement to assist the client with identifying, scoping, and planning for a major IT improvement. Apply knowledge of enterprise IT and business processes to facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences while acting as an intermediary and translator to identify functional and technical requirements effectively. Participate in all stages of the development life cycle, including working on the initial concept, gathering requirements, and conducting stakeholder interviews to assist with defining workflows and key system functionality.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with supporting the intelligence community (IC)

-Experience with implementing process or organizational change

-Experience with documenting and championing technical requirements that result from business processes or organizational change recommendations

-Experience with gathering information, main points, and requirements through interviews, facilitated sessions, and best-practice research

-Experience with identifying and translating functional and technical requirements

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to support multiple initiatives and balance resources and time concurrently to meet iterative requirements and changing priorities

-Ability to prepare and brief senior executives on complex business topics

-Ability to articulate a to-be vision for change, associated pros and cons, and a transition roadmap

-Ability to translate a vision into strategic and tactical plans analysis and execute the resulting plans with little supervision

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including strict attention to detail

-Possession of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with all levels using exceptional teamwork
