Business Systems Analyst

Key Role:

Interact across multiple application teams and with clients on daily basis to perform functional and technical requirements analysis, documentation, and validation for new and existing software development. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle as changes and enhancements to the system are implemented. Create new or update existing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other supporting documentation. Assist with the preparation of weekly status reports and present status updates to the team and client.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with performing business analysis, including aspects of business process and requirements elicitation and documentation

-Experience in working with clients face-to-face

-Knowledge of research methods and process analysis paradigms for addressing client needs

-Knowledge of IT systems and IT organizations

-Ability to learn the functionality of software applications and the elements of business, user processes and write detailed requirements and non-coding

-Ability to be a self-starter and manage competing priorities, multi-task, and continue to meet all deadlines, while remaining flexible with continually changing priorities

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing disparate systems to identify gaps and potential impacts

-Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Waterfall Software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile

-Ability to set realistic client expectations and deliver at or above those expectations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

-Agile Certification
